We have so many friends now, we thought they needed a whole page and a personal spiel.

Looking for Christie's new venture?

Christie is in the process of opening her SECOND Barre studio!! What is Barre I hear you ask? In Christie's words:

"Barrecode is a revolutionary, fun, multitasking and highly effective (albeit addictive) fitness regime that burns fat, sculpts muscle and puts your butt back where it used to be…in record time. We're not Pilates. we're not Yoga. We are Barrecode."

Go Christie!

Want to add something a little different to your group pilates sessions?

Then why not try PilatesPlease? You won't even have to change instructors as Mary, Gin and Em all work at PilatesPlease but you will get an equipment based session offering an extra challenge or a nice assist to the work you already do on the mat.

Looking for new pilates, yoga or travel wear?

We say it over and over and we'll continue saying it time again, check out Abi and Joesph!

Need an inspirational speaker for your next event?

Try Mary (as in our very own Mary McArthur)! Mary regularly presents on a variety of topics from "Midlife Magic - Mountain, Myths, and Muscles", with emphasis on strength training for older clients and women in particular, "Let's Get Primitive" for those in executive, high stress and confined work environments and "Going the Full Mountain" involving training protocols, stress and weight management.

Looking for that perfect piece of jewellery?

Jenny Mills is an inspired artist working with a passion independent to each piece of jewellery she designs. Perfect Jenny and her husband Bob are also committed and accomplished clients of ours. For those of you planning a wedding, you can't go past Jenny's jewellery. Jenny Mills Jewellery: To be noticed... to wear often... to enjoy...

Is it time to pay a bit more attention to you?

Sharkra Health and Beauty take pride in their commitment to achieve professional skin care diagnosis, result-orientated treatments and incomparable customer care within a holistic, relaxing, luxurious and friendly environment. Sharkra director, the gorgeous and bubbly Tanya Ahmed, is know to pay a little attention to herself with us at Pilates Tasmania.

Need a cleaner?

What a funny thing to put on a pilates website but it's true, we know of a slightly obsessive compulsive young man with hippie tendencies cleaning up a storm in the Hobart area and getting rave reviews. Contact Gin for more info.

Pushed yourself that little bit too far (not at pilates we hope!)?

Leap Health Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre is the place for you. Husband and wife partners Stewart and Rachel Williamson run this fantastic centre at a brand new premises conveniently located in New Town. Specialising in all the things you'd expect from a physio and with gym facilities. Rachel is one of our regular pilates clients and can only be described as kicking butt (in terms of her pilates practise). See their yellow pages advertisement for details.

Skin care sent from heaven

If you're looking for pure, delicious and skin care with remarkable results then you're looking for MV Organic Skin Care. MV has set a new precedent in the field of organic and natural formulation with endorsement from health and beauty journalists, holistic GP's and Naturopaths to internationally renowned makeup artist Dotti, facialist to the stars Nichola Joss as well as actors Maggie Gyllenhaal and Emma Watson, and British supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whitely. Stunning stuff.

Need to centre, re-align, relax and work hard at the same time?

Well of course we would recommend you do some pilates! However, Gin raves of her Ashtanga sessions with Lyndel Dean, director of the The Yoga Point in Battery Point. Lyndel is incredibly experienced, offers a relaxed class with a lot of personality and has also trained in somatic psychotherapy. To get involved in Lyndel's classes, give her a call on 0404 851 660.

Myana - Luxury for Life

Need we say more? Well, okay -  here's a little more. Deb and Paul run two amazing boutiques which are an expression of luxury in our everyday lives. Myana is a place to promote designers, artists and artisans, and help them grow by showcasing new exhibits and collaborations. Every object in the store has its own story, and has been chosen because it is either handmade, well-designed, useful, beautiful or all of the above.  The aesthetic of Myana is contemporary-meets-classical - warm and inviting, design that is accessible to all. Visit their website for boutique locations.
